A 62-year-old Lincoln man was seriously injured when his motorcycle crashed into an SUV Wednesday night near North Cotner Blvd and Adams. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says the crash happened around 9:00 p.m.
“The SUV was northbound on Cotner Blvd just south of Adams and it came to a stop at the traffic signal.” She says the northbound motorcycle then crashed into the back of the SUV. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he is in critical condition. Thomas says it’s unknown if he was wearing a helmet.
The SUV driver was not injured. The investigation is continuing.
