A man left a store empty handed after an armed robbery attempt at the U-Stop at 2924 NW 12th Street at 4:30 Friday morning.
The clerk told Lincoln Police that a man came into the store wearing a mask and gloves. The man started talking to the clerk and the power went out. The man then demanded money and pulled out a knife. Due to the power outage, the register could not be opened. The man eventually left the store without any money.
