In accordance with a request from the White House, Governor Jim Pillen affirmed today, all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to be flown at half-staff immediately in remembrance of the victims of the deadly shooting in Maine.
At this time, authorities say 18 people have been killed and 13 wounded at a Lewiston bowling alley and a bar in a mass shooting, with the gunman still at large.
Flags are to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Monday, October 30, 2023.
