Lincoln Police identified the 66 year old woman who was killed in a two vehicle accident Thursday morning at S 40th and Highway 2.
Asuncion Ramos was in a jeep heading east on Highway 2 when she collided with a Honda Accord northbound on S 40th Street. Both drivers were taken to a hospital and Ramos later died. The man driving the Honda remains in critical condition.
Accident reconstruction investigators processed the accident scene and officers conducted interviews with witnesses who reported seeing the Jeep demonstrating erratic driving just before the crash.
No citations or arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
