You and Fido have a chance to sport your Halloween costumes this Saturday, and if you don’t have a Fido, you might end up going home with one.
The Capital Humane Society will host their alliterative Tails & Treats Trunk or Treat special adoption event this Saturday, October 14th, at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center, at 6500 S 70th St. The event will kick off at 4:00 p.m. with festivities going until 7:00 p.m.
Attendees and their pets will enjoy trick or treating, a pet costume contest, hot drinks from Bean Box coffee truck, numerous vendors and rescue groups, raffle items, a bounce house, photo booth, and more.
Everyone is welcome, with or without a furry plus one. Registration is $5 per pet or child in advance and $10 per pet or child at the door.
Funds raised through this event will benefit a number of programs within the Humane Society’s operations.
