Lincoln Police were called to the 500 block of Trail Ridge Road on Thursday, September 9th , just after 3 a.m. on a suspicious vehicle. This was the same vehicle that had been involved in a fleeing from a traffic stop around midnight near Vine and Skyway Road.
The vehicle was a 2012 Hyundai Elantra with Texas license plates and there were two people inside.
The vehicle had been reported stolen on September 5th around 5:30 a.m. from the Phillips 66 at 942 S. 27th Street. The victim reported he left the keys in the vehicle when he went inside the store to buy something. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.
The driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as 26 year old Brandon Gore and a passenger, 22 year old Baylee Claussen. Both men were aware the vehicle was stolen.

Claussen and Gore were both booked for felony theft by receiving.
Claussen was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting. The investigation into the fleeing from a traffic stop continues.
