A driver commuting on I-80 experienced a harrowing situation this week.
Nebraska State Patrol shared in a post on facebook, a photo of a pick-up truck pulled on to the shoulder of the interstate near Lincoln, with a large piece of metal speared through the front grill, after seemingly peeling off of another vehicle and flying airborne into the truck.
“This situation could’ve been much worse than just a damaged radiator had the piece of metal flown a bit higher through the windshield,” said the post. Luckily, no one was hurt.
NSP is reminding people to make sure your properly securing any loads when hauling anything.
