Lincoln Police are investigating the latest local vape shop rammed by a car and burglarized.
Around 4:00 a.m. Sunday, officers were called out to Cloud 9 Smoke Shop located at 48th and Dudley where a black Honda Elantra had been crashed through the front entrance. LPD Sgt. Chris Vollmer says the car is believed to be stolen, indicated by damage to the steering column.
Four unknown individuals can been seen on security video entering the store and stealing an undetermined amount of vape products, estimated at $1,000 of value. Damage to the building is estimated at $29,000.

This is the fourth Lincoln vape shop burglarized via vehicular forced entry that KLIN has reported on this year… with an estimated 18 total vape/smoke shop burglaries reported in the city for 2023.
