Lincoln will celebrate National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, with efforts to register voters across the city. Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen reminds every eligible voter in Lancaster County they have the right to be heard at the ballot box.
In conjunction with National Voter Registration Day, the Election Commission will conduct four special voter registration drives. Any resident of Nebraska who will be 18 on or before November 7, 2023, has moved, changed their name, or would like to change their political party affiliation, may register to vote on Tuesday, September 19th at the following times and locations:
- 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Gere Library
2400 South 56th Street, Lincoln - 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Walt Library
6701 South 14th Street, Lincoln - 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Anderson Library
3635 Touzalin Avenue, Lincoln - 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Eiseley Library
1530 Superior Street, Lincoln
Citizens may also register to vote at the Election Commissioner’s Office, 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln. The office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
There are additional voter registration resources available on the Lancaster County Election Commission’s website at: lancaster.ne.gov/election.
This includes access to Nebraska’s voter registration portal if a voter has a valid Nebraska Driver’s License or State Identification card. Individuals may also obtain mail-in registration forms through this website.
Registrants may also visit one of the other voter registration sites hosted by local nonpartisan organizations in recognition of National Voter Registration Day on September 19th:
