Lincoln Police are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning that sent a 47-year-old man to the hospital.  LPD officers were called to the area of 16th and Knox around 5:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  He was taken to an area hospital by Lincoln Fire and Rescue with serious injuries.  Police say the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
