Heavy thunderstorms moved through Lincoln early Tuesday morning dumping more than an inch and a quarter in parts of the city with winds gusting over 60 miles per hour.

LPD, LFR and LES crews responded to several reports of trees and limbs down, power lines down and power outages that affected more than 400 customers at one point.   KLIN News found this tree down across westbound lanes of R Street between 56th and 57th.

Traffic lights were also reported out in several spots across the city.  Lincoln Electric System officials say crews are hard at work restoring power to customers.
