Three NSP cruisers were damaged in a crash on I-80 near Big Springs, Nebraska around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers were responding to an incident where a man and woman, traveling together, were engaged in a verbal confrontation on the shoulder. While troopers addressed the situation, a Honda Civic struck one of the cruisers and pushed it forward into the other two cruisers.
The cruisers were not occupied at the time of the crash and there were no troopers injured.
Troopers provided aid to the driver of the Civic who was transported to Ogallala Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The initial incident was resolved with no citations and the two parties separated. The Keith County Sheriff’s Office will investigate the crash.
