Lincoln Police are looking for a man who knocked a woman out following a fender bender around 3:30 Sunday morning. Sergeant Chris Vollmer tells KLIN News they contacted the 34 year old at a hospital. She told officers she was driving near an unknown intersection when her car was rear ended by another vehicle.
“The victim describes exiting her vehicle to observe the damage and was struck in the face by an unknown male, causing her to lose consciousness,” Vollmer says. The victim woke up to find herself alone.
Her car was still at the scene and she drove home. A friend transported her to the hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries is not known. Vollmer says the investigation is ongoing.
