Lincoln Police are investigating after two vehicles were struck by gunfire just before 8:00 Saturday morning near 30th and N Street.   “Arriving officers found a 2011 Mazda CX-7 with three suspected bullet strikes in the rear of the vehicle and a 2005 Toyota Camry with 7 suspected bullet strikes on the passenger side,” says Sergeant Chris Vollmer.

Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $3,000. While checking the area, officers found 12 spent .22 caliber casings on N Street.  Police are checking home security cameras to assist in their investigation.
