A 28 year old man is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment around 7 a.m. Saturday near 26th and K.
Police found a second floor apartment window broken and a tool box under the window. No one was home so police forced entry and conducted a search. They found 28 year old Gustavo Gomez hiding under a bed. Police then contacted the resident of the unit who said Gomez did not live there and was trying to burglarize the entrapment.
Lincoln Police had been trying to contact Gomez to interview him about prior domestic assault incidents.
Gomez was booked for burglary, and for domestic assault, child abuse and criminal mischief for the prior incidents.
