At 11 a.m. on Monday, August 23rd, Lincoln Police were called to a home in the 4200 block of Cornhusker to investigate a robbery. A neighbor had called police to report seeing two men walking up to a home and one was carrying a rifle. The neighbor saw the two knock a motorcycle into a vehicle in the driveway and enter the residence.
Police spoke to a 43 year old man who reported he and another 38 year old man were inside when the robbers walked in. The 38 year old man took off when he saw the gun but returned when police arrived. The suspects took a .38 revolver, a bike and a cell phone. Damage to the vehicles is estimated at $1,200 and the Smith and Wesson gun at $500.
