Lincoln Police were called to the 700 block of West Fairfield just before 8:00 Monday night after receiving reports of a vehicle driving recklessly. “Officers arrived in the area and located the vehicle and also found two suspects at the scene,” LPD Captain Max Hubka tells KLIN News.
“One of the suspects fled on foot and was taken into custody after foot pursuit.” 18 year old Aaron Gonzalez of Lincoln was arrested for possession of stolen property and obstructing a police officer. A 17 year old was referred for possession of stolen property.
Hubka says the vehicle had been stolen from Omaha and had not yet been reported as stolen at the time it was recovered.
