Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to the 6100 block of O Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to investigate an injury accident.
A 17 year old man told officers he was run over by a vehicle. Another 17 year old was driving a 2018 Honda CRV in the JC Penney’s parking lot of Gateway Mall while his friend was riding a skateboard while holding on to the passenger side of the vehicle. The teen fell from the skateboard and was run over.
The teen was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The driver was cited for willful reckless driving.
