Just before midnight Friday night an armed robbery was reported in the 1300 block of Trimble Street. The initial report was about a theft but officers learned the victims had been robbed at gunpoint.

LPD officers and members of the Nebraska State Patrol used a description of the suspects and located and arrested 28-year-old Shaquille Adams and 22-year-old Brittney Williams.
Adams was charged with robbery, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Williams is charged with aiding/abetting robbery.
In a Saturday afternoon news release Lincoln Police asked anyone with additional information to contact LPD at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600 to make an anonymous tip.
