Lincoln Police provided on the scene care to a stabbing victim near South 26th and K Streets Sunday night.
A 25-year-old man was walking home from the EZ GO convenience store just before 11 p.m. when 3 men approached him. An argument ensued, and the men assaulted the victim with broken beer bottles. The men were reported to be Hispanic men in their 20s or 30s.
The victim sustained cuts to both of his arms, he was taken to a local hospital for care. His injuries were non life threatening. Captain Todd Kocian says officers recovered some of the bottles at the scene.
No arrests have been made, Police are asking for the publics assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call LPD at (402) 441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at (402) 475-3600.
