A Lincoln man is facing life in prison for the murders of two men. 56 year old William Wright entered a no contest plea during a court appearance on Wednesday and the judge amended the charges from first to second degree murder.

Wright is accused of killing both men last August. Lincoln Police found 61 year old Ronald George’s body in a grassy field near 3rd and P Streets.  That investigation led police to a motel near NW 12th and West Bond Street where they found the body of 49 year old Ronnie Patz.

As part of that investigation, the city landfill was searched for evidence over the course of several days.  Wright will be sentenced next month.
