The jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing has increased to $500 million due to high ticket sales. If someone wins and selects the cash option they would take home $251 million.
There have been 23 consecutive Mega Millions drawings since April 21 without a jackpot winner. The Nebraska Lottery began offering Mega Millions in March of 2010. The largest Mega Millions jackpot on record occurred in October 2018 when one ticket was sold in South Carolina for a $1.537 billion jackpot.
Winning Mega Millions numbers are announced every Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 p.m. and posted at the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com
