Lincoln Police are looking for the vandals who left their mark at the Yankee Hill Country Club at 7600 San Mateo Lane. The owner called police around 11:30 Saturday morning and reported that he found the pump house had been entered and extensively damaged.
Officers found the building had spray paint on all the walls, restrooms had been destroyed and electrical wires pulled from the walls. Police say it appears the suspects entered the pump house after creating a hole in the wall.
The damage is estimated at more than $10,000. Officers processed the scene for evidence and canvassed the area. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
