Lincoln Police were called to a home near 52nd and Ervin just before 8:30 Sunday morning after receiving a report of an assault. LPD says probable cause was established to arrest 34-year-old Ernesto Leyva.
After negotiating with Leyva for about three hours, he came out of the home. He was taken to the Lancaster County Jail and booked for 1st degree sexual assault, false imprisonment, terroristic threats, 3rd degree domestic assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a controlled substance.
The house where Leyva was arrested is located Dawes Middle School.
