Lincoln Police are investigating a string of car break-ins near 84th and Adams. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says they began receiving calls around 6:30 Tuesday morning.
“Approximately seven cases have been reported so far. Most include the vehicles being left unlocked, but there are reports of two windows being shattered and various items taken out of the vehicles.”
Vollmer says items taken include a duffel bag, purses, a backpack, shoes and gift cards from Scheels and Marcus Theatres. He reminds residents to not leave your vehicle unlocked with valuables inside.
