Rick Vest on Wednesday announced his intentions to seek re-election to the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners in District 5. Vest was first elected to the board in November of 2018. Vest was elected Chair of the County Board
earlier this year with support all of his Republican and Democratic colleagues.
“I’m running for re-election to the County Board to continue to advocate for everyday families.” Vest said. “After the past few years of serving as a County Commissioner, I understand what it takes to get the job done. Through bringing people together from different viewpoints, the county has seen unprecedented collaboration,” Vest says.
Vest currently lives in Northeast Lincoln with his wife, Dawn, and frequently spends
time with their eight children and 20 grandchildren. District 5 of Lancaster County Board
includes Northeast Lincoln, Waverley and the surrounding rural areas.
