Two men were critically injured about being shot about 8pm Monday evening in Southeast Lincoln. A confrontation in the parking lot of the Edgewood Shopping Center near 56th & Highway 2 lead to the shooting according to LPD Captain Jake Dilsaver.
Dilsaver told KLIN News the incident does not involve any of the businesses in the area and the investigation continues. A briefing will be held mid-morning with the latest information being made available then.
About 10pm, a 21-year Lincoln man was arrested after shots were fired in the 1500 block of D Street. The man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and unlawful discharge of a weapon in the city.
Around midnight LPD responded to shots fired in the 2100 Block of West Q. Shell casings were found in the area with no reports of damage or injury.
