On Wednesday, August 12, Lincoln Police were called to the Venue at 8:30 p.m. near 4111 Pioneer Woods Drive. A man told officers he saw a man in the process of stealing a bicycle belonging to a co-worker. The man confronted the suspect and told him to drop the bike. At that time, the suspect pulled out a knife and told him to back off.
The suspect then got into a vehicle and left. The bicycle had been secured but the locking device had been cut. Officers then processed the scene and are working to identify the suspect. The investigation continues.
