Lincoln police were in the area of South 13th and D around 8 p.m. Saturday night when they saw a vehicle heading west. The officer recognized the driver as 40 year old Shane Stromer, who had an outstanding warrant for vandalism. Stromer was stopped near 12th and D and officers saw a syringe near the gear shift. A search of the vehicle turned up marijuana and methamphetamine.
Stromer was booked for possession of a controlled substance and he was cited for an earlier vandalism. He is suspected of smashing the front windshield and a passenger side window of a vehicle.
