Lincoln Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person during the evening hours of Friday, May 26. At 7:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to 911 S. 11th Street on a report of a person who had been shot. Responding officers located a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg near S. 11th and F Streets. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made and LPD’s Criminal Investigation Unit is following up with evidence collection and interviewing witnesses.
