Lincoln Police were called to 12th and F Street around 8:30 Saturday night on a report of a man being assaulted by two other men. . Captain Todd Kocian says the victim directed officers to two men walking down the sidewalk.
“Officers then contacted 60 year old Alonzo Green and 28 year old Troy Williams walking away from the scene,” Kocian says. “The victim reported he had been assaulted by Green and Williams and that his wristwatch and gold chain valued at $125 total were taken.”
During a search Green was found to be in possession of a 6” bladed knife and 2.1gm of marijuana. Green was arrested for robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and possession of marijuana.
Williams was arrested for robbery. The watch and gold chain were both recovered.
