Lincoln Transportation and Utilities will hold a public open house on Tuesday, May 23, regarding current and planned improvements to West “A” Street from the west city limits to Southwest 23rd Street.
It will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roper Elementary School at 2323 South Coddington Avenue. More information will be provided on the West “A” Street Wastewater Pipe Replacement Project currently in progress to expand wastewater capacity in the developing area, along with planned street improvements.
Additional improvements include new pavement, roundabout intersections, street lighting, enclosed storm-sewer system, concrete pads at bus stops, ADA accessible sidewalks, new driveway connections and a multi-use trail.
Members of the project team will be available to answer questions and provide an overview of the project, as well as information on the planned improvements, project phasing and the construction schedule.
No formal presentation is planned.
