A traffic stop on I-80 west of Lincoln early Monday afternoon lead to the arrests of a man and woman from Ohio. Sheriff Terry Wagner says a deputy stopped the vehicle for speeding and smelled marijuana.

Wagner says during a probable cause search of the vehicle the deputy found a small amount of marijuana in the center console.  He also says 17 different credit cards were also found throughout the vehicle.  “Two of those cards had different names than the occupants of the vehicle,” Wagner says.

“Other cards had no names and only magnetic strips and account numbers.”  Deputies also found an embossing machine, a magnetic strip encoder and a laptop.

Wagner says it’s not known if the cards were stolen or fabricated.  26 year old Creshawna Thomas and 25 year old Kameron Locklear of Ohio were arrested and booked for possession of a financial transaction device.
