Lincoln Police were called to investigate a three vehicle crash near Pinnacle Bank Arena Tuesday night. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says there was heavy traffic in the area following the concert by Shinedown and Three Days Grace.
It happened on Pinnacle Arena Drive between 8th and 9th Streets around 11:30 p.m. Thomas says a Chevy Impala and SUV were eastbound when the Impala rear-ended the SUV and pushed it into westbound traffic.
“Where it was then hit by a pickup truck. The SUV was pushed into a traffic sign pole,” Thomas says. There were no serious injuries and no one was taken to the hospital.”
The driver of the Impala was issued a citation.
