In a single weekend, Nebraska baseball went from top of the Big Ten Conference standings to seventh.
The Huskers (21-14-1, 7-5 Big Ten) were swept at Iowa (29-10, 7-5 Big Ten) over the weekend. The Hawkeyes were never particularly threatened, taking the series with wins of 11-6, 8-0, and 6-1.
NU posted 16 hits in the series, led by Brice Matthews with a 4-for-10 weekend.
Nebraska heads to Omaha Tuesday.
