Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews were called to a home near 56th and Huntington around 11:00 Wednesday night. LFR Captain Nancy Crist says a detached garage was engulfed in flames when they arrived.
“There was a vehicle in the driveway close to the fire that sustained some damage to the paint.” Crist says the siding of the house was also damaged. The fire caused a an estimated at $45,000 in damage and no one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
