A bicyclist was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle at 1st and West ‘O’ Street around 1:45 Thursday morning. “The 60-year-old driver of a pickup truck said he was traveling westbound on West ‘O’ Street with a green traffic signal,” says Captain Todd Kocian.
“He said the bicyclist crossed when he wasn’t supposed to.” The 37-year-old bicyclist was taken to the hospital and at was listed in critical but stable condition
No citations have been issued at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
