Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to 27th and F Street around 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 11th to investigate an accident. A 28 year old man was critically injured when he lost control of his 2020 Yamaha motorcycle, hit a curb and then a pole. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but his injuries were not considered life threatening.
Officers processed the scene for evidence and interviewed several witnesses. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. No citations have been issued at this time.
There is an estimated $8,000 damage to the motorcycle.
