One person was killed in a house fire late Thursday night in Greenwood. The call came in around 11:00 on the east side of town. Firefighters found smoke and flames when they arrived.
Firefighters from Greenwood, Murdock, Ashland and Waverly responded to the fire. The name of the person found dead has not been released. The State Fire Marshal’s Office has not yet determined what caused the fire.
