Investigators with the Lincoln Police Department found an advertisement on a website that was known to facilitate prostitution that had explicit photos of a female. There was a phone number in the add that was found to belong to 27 year old Jared Jones of Lincoln.

Undercover officers spoke with Jones who arranged a meeting with two women and they discussed the exchange of money for sexual acts.
On July 1st, two females, ages 25 and 19, were dropped off by jones at a local hotel. Investigators determined the women were not the ones who arranged the meeting.

Jones was taken into custody when he returned to pick up the women around 7:30 p.m. A search warrant was also served at his home. Investigators found evidence that Jones was engaged in human trafficking. He was booked on two counts of pandering.
