Rain is expected to change to snow Thursday into Thursday night with the potential for a few-hour period of blizzard conditions in northeast NE where travel could become hazardous.
A strong storm system is forecast to move into the Plains Thursday. While snow amounts remain uncertain, the combination of accumulating snow and strong winds could lead to hazardous travel. Best chance for impacts will be in NE Nebraska, highlighted in blue. Monitor the forecast if you have plans at that time.
