Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says thieves stole $250,000 worth of equipment from the South Beltway construction zone between last Thursday night and Friday morning.
Wagner says the suspects first stole a lowboy trailer, valued at $100,000, the construction site on south 38th Street. The trailer was then driven to south 25th Street where the suspects loaded up two bulldozers valued at $50,000 each and drove away.
A second trailer was also reported missing. Wagner says over the past several weeks GPS devices and catalytic converters have been stolen from trucks at the construction site.
