Nebraska baseball needed just 6 1/2 innings to earn another win over Northern Colorado.
The Huskers blasted five home runs to defeat the Bears 14-3 in a run-rule effort Wednesday afternoon. NU improves to 7-4-1 on the season.
Cole Evans led the way with a pair of homers, going 3-for-4 on the day. The other home runs came from Brice Matthews, Game Swansen, and Griffin Everitt.
NU totaled 13 hits on the day.
On the bump, no Husker went more than the 2.1 innings from Caleb Clark. The freshman from Ontario earned the win, allowing one hit while striking out four.
Nebraska stays home this weekend to host Illinois State.
