A Friday evening fire is being blamed on fireworks.
A Lincoln Fire and Rescue release says a fire at 1030 N 70th at 11:19 pm Friday was determined by Inspector Brad Hasenjaeger to be caused by improperly disposed of fireworks. Damage is estimated at $80,000.
First arriving fire crews reported heavy fire involvement to an attached garage of a residence. All occupants were out of the home.
No injuries were reported. The occupants were displaced and relocated by the American Red Cross.
