A 24 year old man is facing several charges after a pursuit with a Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputy just after midnight Friday. Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says the deputy tried stopping the car for having fictitious license plates, but the driver refused to pull over.
Houchin says following a low speed pursuit the driver pulled over near NW 112th and West Superior. He says an odor of alcohol was detected and Jake Wayman was arrested.
He was booked for aggravated DUI, having a fictitious license plate, driving under suspension and no valid registration. Houchin says his blood alcohol level was .204, nearly three times the legal limit.
