A woman called police around 11:30 Tuesday night after a former acquaintance broke into her home through a basement window and refused to leave.
Sergeant Chris Vollmer says when officers arrived they encountered 45 year old Michael Thomas. “Officers attempted to take Michael into custody, but he pushed a door closed on them and then fled into another bedroom.”
Thomas was eventually taken into custody and booked in jail for 2nd offense resisting arrest. At jail he was cited for obstructing a police officer, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and disturbing the peace.
