Lincoln Police were called to an apartment building near 7th and West E Street around 8:30 Thursday morning to investigate the theft of air conditioning units.
“Arriving officers spoke with maintenance personnel who advised two AC condenser units had been removed and an additional four had their
copper plumbing removed,” says Sergeant Chris Vollmer. The employee told officers the units were undisturbed Wednesday afternoon when he was salting sidewalks and a tenant notified him of the damage on Thursday morning.
