Lincoln Police are looking for four individuals who left behind a trail of damage inside the First United Methodist Church near 50th and St. Paul Avenue.
Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the pastor called police just before 11:00 Thursday morning and said security cameras showed the vandals entering the church the previous night and damaged several items.
He says a fire extinguisher was sprayed in the sanctuary, a glass chandelier, flat screen TV, remote and microphone were shattered and two stain glass windows had numerous small holes. “a Wooden pedestal was broken, a Bible was shredded and oil and ash was spread over pew cushions,” Vollmer says.
