Lightning hit a home at 600 Primrose Court in Hickman around 6:55 Thursday morning. The lightning struck the laundry room area and caused and estimated $1,000 in damage. No one was hurt.
A line of strong thunderstorms moved through Nebraska overnight Thursday. More than an inch of rain was reported at the Lincoln Airport. The storms also brought strong wind, at times more than 40 miles per hour. There was no major damage reported in Lincoln.
