Lincoln based criminal defense attorney Tim Noerrlinger has been named a special prosecutor to review the Lincoln Police investigation into last summer’s alleged break-in at the Nebraska GOP headquarters.
District Judge Andrew Jacobsen made the appointment after Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon requested a special prosecutor.
Aaron Sanderford with the Nebraska Examiner reports the GOP Leadership hired private investigator Tom Nesbitt who disagreed with LPD’s determination that no crime was committed.
